v3.1.5 Update


This update includes the following changes:

  • NPCs no longer introduce themselves every time you talk to them. The first time you converse, they tell you their name and role (class). After that, they greet Brendylynn by name. But don't worry about remembering their names; it's always at the bottom of the message box.
  • Elenor Fant, the quest giver, no longer delivers a long speech when she offers you the first quest, "Meet the neighbors", listing all of your neighbors. You can see who you have met and who you have yet to meet by turning on tracking for the quest.
  • Lipiers, the guardsman who protects the Ruben Inn, now has a new, more handsome avatar.
  • A new guardsman, Zeph, now protects the Market after hours, so Lipiers doesn't have to pull a double shift.
  • The gates in the Market have been reworked, so they open and close when the Market does, rather than waiting until someone tries to go through them.
  • The Market vendors who stand in front of their booths, Dagmar, Ekantika, Burgwy, Berctio, and Florenz Bartone, now go home and get some rest when the Market closes, rather than standing around the Market all night long.
  • Message boxes now shrink to fit the size of the message, giving a cleaner look.
  • The Market map has been made slightly wider, making the entrance road less claustrophobic while you are waiting for the market to open.
  • The Hero's Chamber (High Priestess Tulsi's office) has been made a bit wider.
  • Fixed a bug where, when claiming the reward for the first quest, you were presented with the PARTY screen, instead of a picture of the quest giver.
  • The way NPCs are defined internally has been revised and streamlined, which will make for fewer errors when changing NPCs or introducing new ones.
  • Several minor bugs were fixed.
